The 1stROF is founded in 1997 by Lapwin and Zepher and is inspired by the dutch 322nd Sqn who flew the Spitfire in WW2.
Back on those days we flew a online-combat flightsimulator called “Warbirds”. Warbirds 2 to be exact and this is where we originally formed as an official Squadron.
